Kåre Vernby, Ph.D., Uppsala University, 2006, is Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science, Stockholm University, where he teaches courses in comparative politics and methods. His current research projects include studying the policy consequences of enfranchising previously excluded groups; the political representation of immigrants; and the historical origins of the radical right. His papers have been published in academic journals such as American Political Science Review, American Journal of Political Science, Electoral Studies, European Union Politics and Politics & Society as well as several edited volumes. He is a research fellow at the Uppsala Center for Labor Studies and faculty affiliate at the Immigration Policy Lab at Stanford University.
